Our Premier experience is the Penobscot Farm Tour and Degustation seated at the Chef’s Table, matched to Clare Valley Wines, Gins or Penobscot Mocktails.

Featuring produce from our own Penobscot Farm as well as locally sourced ingredients from our region.

Bookings essential.

$250 per person – 1 hour farm tour, Degustation menu. Beverages can be acquired on the night.

Penobscot restaurant Degustation Menu & Matched Wines or mocktails

The Penobscot Restaurant degustation menu is a six course menu with dishes selected by our team of chefs day to day.

Featuring produce from our own Penobscot Farm as well as locally sourced ingredients from our region.

Each course will be matched to a local Clare Valley wine. Showcasing the amazing diversity we have here in our region.

$250 per person – Degustation with matched wines or farm produce mocktails.

$125 per person – Degustation food only

TEACH ME, FEED ME

A powerpoint masterclass covering Clare Valley Climate, Geology, Geography, History and Wine Styles including a tasting of 6 wines selected to show the diversity and virtues of Clare Valley Wines. Wines include iconic back vintage from the likes of Wendouree, Grosset and Kilikanoon wines.

After the class enjoy a four-course Feed Me Menu including dessert, plus snacks.

$200 per person – 1 hour masterclass plus lunch

We honour our vouchers for three years from purchase date, so you can buy a voucher for them, but let them choose when they come to enjoy it.

Along with simple dollar value vouchers that can be applied to various experiences, we also have a range of unique experiences that can be purchased as gift vouchers. Why not buy that special person an experience they will never forget. If our prices changr between purchase and redemption we honour the original price. If we have changed or discontinued the specific experience we will exchange the experience for a similar experience of similar value, or simply apply the voucher amount as a discount on an experience selected by the recipient.

These range from our epicurean experiences in the Hotel or at the Guesthouse, farm tours at Penobscot Farm, services we can bring in to the Watervale Hotel Guesthouse, and workshop facilitation.

This range of experiences makes Watervale an ideal destination for a romantic getaway for two, a weekend away for a group of ladies, re-unions for families and friends, or small group corporate retreats.
